PARCC testing continues this week. Students will be taking the math portion of PARCC Monday through Thursday of this week., Please make sure your child gets a good night's sleep and a great breakfast!! Make sure your child arrives on time as we begin testing at 10:30 am.

Discovery Education is a great website to help students not only in science and social studies, but in math and reading! Please have your child log in a couple times of week to explore the site and find all that is available to them. Each child has their own username and password.
The week of May 8th:
Math:
Students will be learning about reading a scale and finding the mass of items. There will be no math homework as we are taking the Math PARCC this week.
Science: Students will continue to learn about weather and how meteorologists learn to predict the weather. Students will learn about weather patterns and what causes changes in weather. Students may log onto Discovery Education to review the day's lesson.
Vocabulary words: temperature, thermometer, barometer, anemometer, climate, precipation, meterologist, rain gauge
Spelling/Phonics: No spelling this week!
